At MuttSchool, we’ve always believed that every dog is a superstar! Your dog’s journey to stardom begins right here. Whether your dog is a seasoned performer or just starting on your training journey, Demo Team tryouts are open to all. Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your dog’s talents.
This year, we are offering something truly special for those selected for the team – a year of FREE trick and drill team training classes for you and your superstar-in-training.

Sign up for our 2024 Demo Team tryouts and let your dog’s inner star shine:
- Register: Tryouts are December 2, 1:00pm or 2:00pm.
If you can’t attend this date. Message us from your client portal. We may have a second tryout the week between Christmas and New Years. - Tryout: Earn your first Trick Dog Title!
Pick 10 tricks to demonstrate from the AKC Novice Checksheet. If you do all 10 your dog will earn the AKC Novice Trick Dog Title while you tryout! If your dog already has novice trick titles, just show us 10 of your dog’s best tricks. Please bring a list of the tricks you and your dog are going to perform, so our judges can follow along! - Get Ready to Shine: Once selected, be ready for your dog to steal the spotlight!
Annual Commitment with MuttSchool Demo Dogs Team:
🐾 Community Performances: Join us in spreading joy and excitement at various community performances throughout the year. These events are opportunities for your dog to showcase their talents and brighten the lives of others. We ask that you commit to up to 10 community performances a year.
🌟 Twice-Monthly Practices: Experience the thrill of bonding with your dog and fellow team members during our enjoyable, collaborative practice sessions held on Saturday mornings. It’s a time for learning, laughter, and building unforgettable memories.
PLEASE NOTE: We ARE NOT able to have dogs with behavioral problems, dogs who are disruptive in a kennel or for reactive dogs (dogs that growl, bark or lunge on leash) on the Demo Team. We do have training options specifically designed for dogs with behavioral challenges.
