We understand the importance of communication. You’ll receive regular updates on your dog’s progress through a picture report card following your dog’s visit. Please keep in mind, it’s not always easy to grab the phone with a 100 lb Great Dane at the end of the leash. So, if you have any questions or concerns, just shoot us a message through your client portal and we promise to get back to you during doggy nap time.

Boarding School packages
Explore our Boarding School packages for an in-depth, multi-week training experience that follows our comprehensive grade-level curriculum. Choose from our 2, 4, or 6-week options, all of which include a weekly private lesson with one of your dog’s trainers to ensure you can continue your dog’s progress at home. If you’re located at a distance, worry not – these lessons can be conducted online for your convenience.
All dogs entering Boarding School must have an evaluation. We can schedule Boarding School at that time, or contact us through the client portal with the dates you’d like your dog to be scheduled for one of these packages.

Short-term Boarding School
We understand that not all situations demand an extended stay, and our customizable, shorter-term options ensure that you can access the training and care your pet requires precisely when you need it.
For those seeking a flexible and convenient solution, we also have the option to book shorter durations of training, catering to your specific needs. Whether you’re looking to refresh your dog’s skills, are embarking on a short trip and want to leave your dog in a familiar place, or require a brief but effective training intervention, we’ve got you covered. Our “Short-Term Boarding School” program is designed for when you want boarding and training services that span less than two weeks.
We often have availability for short-term Boarding School here at MuttSchool, but be sure to plan ahead and secure your spot if you require boarding for less than two weeks. We only take a few Boarding School dogs at a time, and those spaces fill up quickly. Short-term boarding follows our DaySchool curriculum and does not include private lessons. Your dog will get a morning and evening training session for each day they attend.

Optional Boarding at Wildcat Pet Resort
For those looking alternative boarding, consider our boarding partnership with Wildcat Pet Resort (WCPR). When your dogs stay at WCPR, they can enjoy full-day participation in our DaySchool program from Monday to Friday. Please keep in mind that we do not provide weekend training or the evening training session for dogs boarding at WCPR. Also, private lessons are not included.
You can book this directly from this website by scheduling DaySchool for your dog:
- First, arrange your boarding dates with WCPR to confirm they have availability.
- Schedule DaySchool for the days you want us to train your dog.
- As you are scheduling, click the ADD-ON button and select “My dog is boarding at Wildcat Pet Resort.”
- Please add this to each day of DaySchool you schedule while your dog is boarding at WCPR. This tells us to pick up and return your dog to WCPR.
- Due to our agreement with WCPR, you can only add this to a FULL DAY of DaySchool.
Prerequisite: Evaluation or instructor permission to enroll, plus please schedule your stay at WCPR before booking DaySchool.

- Drop off and pick up between 8-9:00AM Monday-Friday.
- Need to schedule a different time or on the weekend? Please let us know ahead of time by sending a message through the client portal.
- Want to pick up after 9:00AM, please schedule a full day of DaySchool and that will give you until 6:00PM to pick up.
- If you will be after 6:00PM, your dog will need to stay another night.
